Canine Hip Dysplasia- PennHIP testing and OFA certification

iStock_000005419026XSmallIf you or your dog has ever suffered from hip arthritis, you know first-hand how painful and debilitating this condition can be. There are now screening tests available to predict which dogs are most at risk for developing this disease. Our veterinarians have undergone training to become certified in performing PennHIP testing.

While dogs of all ages can benefit from PennHIP testing, we recommend testing dogs as early as possible (puppies that are 16 weeks old). With this information, we can help prevent and treat painful arthritis (OA) caused by canine hip dysplasia.

You can learn more about PennHip from one of our veterinarians or at the PennHIP website.
